What is the difference between this and the Modular Clamp Rail?

This is a One-Piece Welded Unit, meaning it comes pre-assembled and ready to bolt down. It is faster to install and generally more rigid. The Modular Clamp Rail is a kit of parts (tubes and fittings) that you assemble yourself, which is better if you need to navigate odd angles, slopes, or custom shapes.

Can these be used outdoors?

Yes. The units are Hot-Dipped Galvanised before they are powder coated. This dual-layer protection makes them highly resistant to rust and suitable for outdoor walkways, car parks, and external loading bays.

How do I install them?

These are Surface Mounted units. Each leg has a base plate with pre-drilled holes. You simply position the rail on your concrete slab, mark the holes, drill into the concrete, and secure it using concrete masonry anchors (typically M10 or M12 dynabolts or screw bolts).

Can I join them together to make a long run?

These units are designed to be standalone or placed side-by-side with a small gap (e.g., 100mm) between them. They do not have interconnecting joiners. If you need a perfectly continuous rail with no gaps, we recommend looking at our Modular Clamp Rail system.
