Can trucks drive over these?

These are designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. If you have heavy rigid trucks, semi-trailers, or forklifts crossing frequently, we strongly recommend upgrading to our Heavy-Duty Steel Speed Humps to prevent crushing.

How are they fixed to the ground?

Each module typically has 2 mounting holes. They are usually secured into concrete or asphalt using dynabolts or screw-bolts.

Why are they sold in 250mm sections?

This short length allows the hump to follow the “crown” or curvature of a road better than long rigid bars, preventing the hump from rocking or snapping on uneven surfaces.
