Description
The Solution for Limited Overhead Space
Traditional boom gates lift up, and swing gates swing out—but what do you do when you have neither height nor width to spare? You choose the Telescopic Boom Gate.
Specifically designed for areas with restricted overhead clearance, such as underground car parks, tunnels, or warehouses with low structural beams, this manual barrier extends and retracts horizontally. It provides a reliable, robust solution for controlling unauthorized vehicle access and ensuring site security without the need for vertical clearance.
Space-Saving Telescopic Action
The defining feature of this system is its sliding mechanics. The rail telescopes into itself, allowing for smooth operation in confined spaces.
Low Clearance Ready: Perfect for basements or covered driveways where a standard “lift-up” boom would hit the ceiling/sprinklers.
Compact Footprint: Unlike swing gates, it doesn’t require a large arc of clear space to open, maximizing your usable floor area.
Heavy-Duty Industrial Construction
We build these gates to withstand the elements and daily industrial use.
Dual-Layer Protection: Constructed from Hot-Dipped Galvanised Steel for superior corrosion resistance, then finished with a Safety Yellow Powder Coat.
Result: A barrier that resists rust in damp underground environments and remains highly visible to drivers to prevent accidental collisions.
Two Security Levels (Single or Double)
Select the configuration that meets your risk profile:
Single Rail (BGSR): A single horizontal bar. Ideal for standard traffic control and visual deterrence.
Double Rail (BGDR): Adds a second lower rail. This creates a more substantial physical barrier, making it significantly harder for pedestrians to duck under or climb over.
Ideal Applications
Underground Car Parks: Securing resident or staff parking areas with low ceilings.
Warehouses: Restricting forklift access to specific aisles with overhead storage.
Loading Docks: Managing delivery vehicle entry under awnings.
Building Entrances: Restricting after-hours access in confined driveways.
