Below Ground (Concrete-In) Bollards:

How far apart should safety bollards be installed?
To effectively prevent standard vehicle access while allowing easy pedestrian flow, we generally recommend spacing bollards approximately 1.2 to 1.5 metres apart.
Do I need a core drill to install surface mount bollards?
No. Surface mount bollards feature a pre-drilled base plate and can be installed directly onto flat, cured concrete using heavy-duty masonry anchors (dynabolts or screw bolts).
Can I install these on asphalt?
Standard surface-mounted bollards are designed to bolt securely into concrete. Because asphalt is a much softer surface, we highly recommend using below-ground (concrete-in) bollards supported by a dedicated poured concrete footing to ensure absolute stability during an impact.
